About

Writer and director Taylor Leigh Aguilar completely lost her vision in 2020, in the middle of pre-production on her graduate short film. She paused film school for blind school and found community with other visually-impaired folks, who quickly became her friends and confidantes. Together, they learn to navigate the world in new ways.

As a filmmaker, Taylor reimagines how tell visual stories. Her subjects share the ways they follow their passions, travel the world, and do things they never thought they could—even when they were sighted.
